George Mason and the Fairfax County Commission for Women have teamed up to create a new free lecture series this fall. The first of the four lectures is “Women and Men in Conversation,” presented by Anita Taylor, professor of communication at George Mason, who will discuss problems in communication among women and men and provide suggestions for minimizing such difficulties.

The lecture is tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center, Conference Rooms 2 and 3, 12000 Government Center Parkway.

The series will provide an opportunity to share information and resources on topics of interest for women and girls, offer a forum for focus group discussions that will affect policy recommendations in Fairfax County, and highlight the faculty resources available at George Mason on these topics.

Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Fairfax County Commission for Women, and free parking will be available. No RSVP is required. For more information, see the Gazette article or contact Traci Claar at 703-993-8846.
