BYTE Week Offers Time to Build Technology and Teaching Expertise

Faculty and staff are invited to take advantage of free training during BYTE Week, May 10-14. Six new workshops are being offered along with a number of returning favorites. New workshop tracks in Microsoft Office XP Fundamentals and Graphic Creation, Manipulation, and Animation are also available.
The new workshops offered this season are:
Using Style Sheets and Templates to Manage Web Sites
Push-Button Publishing: Educational Uses of Weblogs
Teaching with Townhall (for experienced users)
PowerPoint XP: Software Application Strategies for Teaching
Beginning Adobe Photoshop Elements
Windows XP Computer Security
Returning workshops include web authoring, creating and manipulating graphics, interactive multimedia, desktop publishing, Microsoft Office XP applications, computer security, and web accessibility.
Faculty and staff can earn certificates of completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the new workshop tracks offered by the ITU Training Council.
