Sports Columnist Christine Brennan to Speak on Campus

USA Today sports columnist and figure skating expert Christine Brennan will speak tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the Johnson Center Dewberry Hall in a presentation organized for Communication Department classes. The talk is open to all George Mason students, faculty, and staff.
Brennan is the most-read woman sports columnist in the nation and has covered every Olympics since the 1984 Los Angeles Games. She is the best-selling author of the skating books, Inside Edge and Edge of Glory and is known as one of the leading experts in figure skating. In 1985, she became the first woman to cover the Washington Redskins as a staff writer at the Washington Post.
The event was coordinated by Steve Klein, professor and coordinator of the electronic journalism minor, for his Introduction to Journalism and Newswriting and Reporting courses.
