Arlington SBDC Holds 8(a) Program Eligibility Briefings

The Arlington Small Business Development Center (SBDC), part of the Mason Enterprise Center, will hold eligibility briefings on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Program today from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The event is held on George Mason’s Arlington Campus in the Original Building, Room 329.
The 8(a) Business Development Program helps small disadvantaged businesses develop into strong, competitive enterprises. By attending this briefing, participants will learn about the 8(a) Program, the application process, and the criteria for eligibility.
Nalin Jain, SBDC director, will provide opening remarks, followed by a welcome from Stanley Taylor, vice president of the Arlington Campus. Theodore Holloman, SBA deputy district director, presents the 8(a) briefings, and Linda Petty, SBA loans specialist, will discuss financing and SBA loans.
