Victims’ Rights Run/Walk Early Registration Deadline is Friday

The early registration deadline for the eighth annual Victims’ Rights Walk/5K Run is Friday, April 9. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the event at noon on Thursday, April 22. President Alan Merten will lead the run/walk, which begins at the Mason Pond.

Participants must register in advance, which can be done online. The cost is $10 for faculty and staff or $8 each for a team of five or more; and $5 for students or $4 each for a student team of five or more. Registration includes a T-shirt.

Trophies will be awarded in the following categories:

  • First and second place runners (men and women)
  • First and second place walkers (men and women)
  • First place student runner and walker
  • Team with most participants
  • Team with largest donation
