The Mason Media Lab, George Mason’s multimedia production lab, will host an open house for all faculty and staff on Wednesday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Room 311.
The lab is equipped with some of the newest production systems such as Avid and ProTools, as well as production software such as Maya, Photoshop, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Dreamweaver. Projects developed in the lab can produce animations and web pages, burn DVDs and CDs, create digital video projects, and edit digital images. A large format printer and scanner are also available. The open house provides an opportunity to see the facilities and learn how the staff can assist you, your students, or department to meet your multimedia needs. Representatives from Patriot Computers, Apple, and Adobe will be present for demonstrations. Refreshments will be served. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 703-993-4202.
