The Moscow Festival Ballet, founded in 1989 by legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet Sergei Radchenko, returns to George Mason’s Center for the Arts for two performances of ballet classics. Fairy tale enchantment is on order as the company tells the always popular story of Cinderella on Saturday, March 27, at 8 p.m. The heartbreaking tale of star-crossed lovers Giselle and Count Albrecht is recounted in a matinee of Giselle on Sunday, March 28, at 2 p.m.
Both performances are family friendly, with all children’s (under 12) tickets half price, and are preceded by artistic discussions 45 minutes prior to the curtain. Tickets are $50, $42, and $25. Charge by phone at 703-218-6500 or visit www.tickets.com.
