NuRide is a new commuting service that helps people meet online, plan trips, and get paid to ride together. The company has been awarded a contract from the Commonwealth of Virginia to deploy its ride network throughout Northern Virginia, and it is supported by a special congestion relief grant that is overseen by the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation. A NuRide representative will be on all three campuses this week to talk about the program and discuss how to get started.

The presentation schedule is as follows (two sessions are available–either 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1 to 2 p.m.):

  • Prince William Campus, tomorrow, Occoquan Building (PWI), Room 203
  • Arlington Campus, Thursday, March 25, Original Building, Room 269

  • Fairfax Campus, Friday, March 26, Mason Hall, Room D3, A and B
