The new Ike’s in the Eisenhower Commons residence hall opened late Sunday night and served a hungry crowd of 300. The diner-style facility features breakfast and lunch foods, with an emphasis on meal plan combos. Open 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., it’s the first dining facility of its kind at George Mason, with a jukebox and 1950s style. Above, Mohsen (Moe) Emami, general manager, checks out the menu before the crowd arrives.
