New York Times Magazine Writer Visits George Mason

Mark Levine, nonfiction writer and poet, will read at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall Grand Tier III. The event is part of the Visiting Writers Series sponsored by the Creative Writing Program.
Levine is a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine, and has written for the New Yorker, Outside, Men’s Journal, and other publications. His nonfiction has been included in Best American Poetry, Best American Magazine Writing, and Best American Sports Writing. Levine also has published two books of poems and is a member of the permanent faculty in poetry at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His poetry has been chosen for the Best American Poetry book series.
