Women’s Volleyball Team to Face Colorado State in NCAA Tournament

George Mason’s men’s volleyball team (16-14) will face No. 14 seeded Colorado State University (28-4) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament tomorrow in College Park, Md., at 5:30 p.m. American University and the University of Maryland are also competing at the site.
The Patriots defeated Hofstra University, 3-1, in the championship match of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament on Nov. 22 to receive an automatic bid to the national tournament for the second straight year. Last season, Mason fell to Michigan State University in the first round in South Bend, Ind., by a score of 3-0.
Colorado State defeated the University of Utah in four games in the championship match of the Mountain West Tournament to receive an automatic berth. This is CSU’s ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and the 15th time overall.
Tickets are $11 for adults and $8 for students, children, and senior citizens for two-day passes. Single-day tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, children, and senior citizens, but will not be available until the day of the match.
