Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony Concert Held Tonight

The Department of Music presents a symphonic band and wind symphony concert tonight at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall. John Casagrande and Anthony Maiello conduct the performance with several guest conductors and soloists.

The group will be performing “Enigma Variations” by Edward Elgar, “March for the Sultan Abdul Medjid” by Gaetano Donizetti, “Shining City: by Mark Camphouse and Dan DeVanym, “Allegro Maestoso” by Jan Koetsier, and “Harrison’s Dream” by Peter Graham.

Tickets–on sale at the Center for the Arts Box Office–are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Fifty free tickets are available for George Mason students. For more information, call (703) 993-1380.
