Cassar to Lecture at ICAR Brown Bag Series

The Institute of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR)’s brown bag lecture series continues today from noon to 1:30 p.m. with Angela Cassar’s presentation, “Environmental Conflicts and Implications for Public Policy.” Cassar is a member of the Washington, D.C.-based Environmental Law Institute (ELI).
Cassar has extensive experience with public policy matters and their effects on the environment. She currently serves as a visiting scholar with ELI, where she has been for six months. She is also a doctoral candidate at the University of Melbourne in Australia, and is close to submitting a dissertation concerning the implementation of domestic environmental agreements in Australia and China. Cassar also serves as a co-chair for the American Society of International Law’s Environmental Group.
The lecture is open to the public and is part of ICAR’s series of informal lectures on research and practice of conflict resolution. It is held in the ICAR Main Conference Room, A401, located at 4260 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax. For more information, call (703) 993-1300.
