George Mason University Foundation Board Elects Officers, Trustees

Paul E. Kyle, president, King Wholesale Inc., was elected chairman of the George Mason University Foundation Board of Trustees at the board’s recent annual meeting. The Board of Trustees generates, manages, invests, and administers private support on behalf of George Mason.
The board also elected Albert J. Dwoskin, CEO and president, A.J. Dwoskin and Associates, as vice chairman. Elected secretary was Carol Walcoff Dixon, president, Bellwether Research Inc.; and reelected treasurer was Michael G. Anzilotti, CEO and president, First Virginia Bank. Lovey L. Hammel, president, Employment Enterprises Inc., will remain on the board as immediate past chairman.
Newly elected trustees were R. Rebecca Donatelli, principal, Campaign Solutions; John J. Norman Jr., president, Norman Realty; Carolyn S. Settles, founder and president, Settles Associates Inc.; Terrie G. Spiro, executive vice president, Riggs Bank; and Robert C. Steele, CEO and president, Steele Technologies Inc.
Reelected to a second three-year term were Donald de Laski, director, Deltek Systems Inc.; Sidney O. Dewberry, chairman, The Dewberry Companies; Barbara J. Fried, chairman, Fried Companies Inc.; and Charles H. Smith Jr., retired real estate developer.
Reelected to a third three-year term were Dwoskin; Katherine K. Clark, co-founder, former Landmark Systems Corporation; and Carson Lee Fifer Jr., partner, McGuireWoods LLP.
Graduate School of Education Dean Jeffrey Gorrell was appointed to an academic two-year term.
Anzilotti, Clark, Hammel, Hazel, and Steele are George Mason alumni.
