University to Host 18 Commencements in June

At most universities, commencement marks the end of major graduation events for the academic year. But at George Mason, it’s just beginning. The month of June finds the university hosting 18 different commencement exercises, including 16 area high schools, National Louis University, and Strayer University.

Seventeen of the 18 events will be held in the Patriot Center. Only National Louis University’s ceremony on June 7 will be held in the Concert Hall.

Ceremonies are not expected to significantly compromise parking or traffic conditions on or around the university’s Fairfax Campus. Following is a list of the upcoming graduation ceremonies that George Mason is hosting in June:

  • Saturday, June 7–11 a.m., National Louis University (Concert Hall)
  • Sunday, June 8–2:30 p.m., Paul VI High School (Patriot Center)
  • June 12–7 p.m., Gar-Field High School (Patriot Center)
  • June 13–7:30 p.m., Stone Bridge High School (Patriot Center)
  • June 14–10 a.m., Potomac Falls High School (Patriot Center)

    2:30 p.m., Broad Run High School (Patriot Center)

  • June 16–1:30 p.m., Loudoun County High School (Patriot Center)

    7:30 p.m., Park View High School (Patriot Center)

  • June 17–10 a.m., Hayfield High School (Patriot Center)

    2 p.m., Oakton High School (Patriot Center)

    7:30 p.m., Chantilly High School (Patriot Center)

  • June 18–10 a.m., Centreville High School (Patriot Center)

    2 p.m., Robert E. Lee High School (Patriot Center)

    7:30 p.m., West Potomac High School (Patriot Center)

  • June 19–10 a.m., Westfield High School (Patriot Center)

    2 p.m., West Springfield High School (Patriot Center)

    8 p.m., Thomas Jefferson High School (Patriot Center)

  • June 21–3 p.m., Strayer University (Patriot Center)
  • June 22–9:30 a.m., Strayer University (Patriot Center)
