A record number of alumni are stepping forward at the President’s Circle level (an annual gift or pledge of $1,000 and above) in support of the leadership phase of the Alumni Campaign. The special one-year donor initiative is an integral part of The Campaign for George Mason University.
Alumni donors who make a commitment of $1,000 and above between July 1, 2002, and June 30, 2003, will be recognized on a plaque to be displayed in the “Alumni Atrium,” the proposed name of the three-story atrium in Mason Hall at the Fairfax Campus. Donor names and class years will be listed by gift level. For more information, contact the Office of University Development, (703) 993-8850.
To date, The Campaign for George Mason University has raised $92.4 million for faculty, students, facilities, community outreach programs, and unrestricted support, including the funding of 56 endowed scholarships and 10 endowed faculty positions. The campaign seeks a minimum of $110 million in private support by June 2005.
