Dance teacher Anne Pirron will offer six weeks of dance lessons this summer at the Johnson Center Dance Studio, located across the hall from the Bistro.
Popular ballroom dances such as the foxtrot, jitterbug, waltz, cha-cha, American tango, East-Coast swing, and salsa will be covered. Continuous reviews of dance steps and dance leads will be stressed and new steps will be taught each week.
Classes will be held each Tuesday from May 20 to June 24. Beginner classes will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and intermediate and advanced classes will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost for the class for Mason faculty, staff, and students is $4 per hour for one person, and $6 per hour for a couple.
