Online Tutorials Highlighted at Friday’s Faculty Showcase

The fourth event in the faculty showcase series, sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Instructional Resource Center, features English Department faculty members Steven Weinberger, Christopher Thaiss, Kenneth Thompson, Dean Taciuch, Zofia Burr, Byron Hawk, and Robert Matz . They will present “Online Tutorials” on Friday, April 11, at noon in the Johnson Center, Assembly Room A. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP by Wednesday.
The group will show how a team of faculty members working on a Technology Across the Curriculum-sponsored project prepared web-based modules that instruct students and other faculty on technology in archiving, web development, digital video, sound for the Web, image capture, annotation, and searching scholarly databases.
A faculty forum on “Reducing Cheating and Plagiarism” will be held on Wednesday, April 23, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Room 228.
