An interactive art show is being held this week in the George Mason Fine Arts Gallery that allows members of the George Mason community to express their opinions, emotions, and thoughts on the war in Iraq. The write-in is taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow in the lower level of the Fine Arts Building and will fill the gallery space with words.
Scrawl a poem, a word, a thought, a drawing, a pun, a speech, a question, or any other form of expression to contribute to the display. Pieces of paper and markers are provided for people to write or make paper cranes and planes to hang from the ceiling. It is designed to be an open space to write in the context of troubled times.
