Compensation Committee Seeks New Members

The George Mason Compensation Committee is seeking classified employees to serve as committee members representing academic units and the Prince William and Arlington Campuses. In order to be eligible, employees must have at least two years of university service and must have received a contributor or extraordinary contributor rating on their most recent performance review.

The Compensation Committee reviews and approves pay increase requests for classified employees, Outstanding Achievement Awards, and Citizenship Awards. The committee also administers the Central Fund Pay Increase program. The group has nine members–five permanent members and four rotating classified employees. Rotating members represent Operations/Physical Plant, academic units, Prince William or Arlington Campus, and Information Technology. The five permanent members are co-chairs Tom Hennessey, chief of staff, and Earl Ingram, vice president, Equity Office; Donna Kidd, assistant vice president, Budget and Institutional Research and Reporting; Stacey Remick-Simkins, chair of the Staff Senate; and Ilse Riddick, compensation manager, Human Resources.
