Town Meeting Held Today on Emergency Preparedness and Safety Issues

The George Mason community is invited to attend an informational meeting to address emergency preparation and safety-related issues at George Mason. Speakers include Michael Lynch, police chief, and George Ginovsky, assistant chief of police, as well as Keith Bushey, chief safety officer, and Jay Cullen, emergency plans officer. The meeting will include a police briefing on university preparedness and an opportunity to discuss other concerns about the war’s impact on George Mason and its community
The meeting is held today in Harris Theatre from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. President Alan Merten, Provost Peter Stearns, and Chief of Staff Tom Hennessey, who chairs the Crisis Committee, will also attend this meeting.
