The George Mason Police Department and Sexual Assault Services are cosponsoring the 7th Annual Victims’ Rights Run and Walk on April 9 at noon. The proceeds of this two-mile run and walk go to the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) program in order to continue offering quality self defense classes to the George Mason community.

The run/walk starts and ends at the University Police headquarters in Lot C. Registration is required and costs $7 for George Mason students, faculty, and staff; $5 per person for a team of five or more people; and $10 for the outside community. Registrations submitted after April 4 will be charged a late fee.

Entry includes the run/walk, T-shirts to the first 200 to register, a light fruit snack buffet, and raffle prizes provided by community sponsors. Trophies will be awarded to top runners, walkers, and largest team.
