The Staff Senate is now holding its 2003 elections. All nonprobationary, classified, part-time classified, and nonstudent wage employees are eligible to vote for the Staff Senate.
To vote, visit the Staff Senate web site and click on the ballot (Microsoft Word format). Print and then fill out the ballot and return to Charlotte Jerdak, MS 3F1, or fax to (703) 993-1297, by March 28. A candidate information link, which may be printed to review the candidates’ profiles, is also located on the web site.
The Staff Senate is the official body that represents all classified and nonstudent wage employees at George Mason. Some of the primary goals of the organization are to facilitate communication among staff members; foster a spirit of unity and cooperation; keep open lines of communication with the president, the faculty, and the students of the university; and act as an advocate for the George Mason staff by bringing their concerns to the attention of the appropriate body and following through to resolution.
