A two-hour documentary on the legacy of former President Ronald Reagan will be aired on The History Channel today from 9 to 11 p.m. Host and chief reporter of this special is Frank Sesno, School of Public Policy and Communications Department.

This special, formally titled “Ronald Reagan: A Legacy Remembered,” is a culmination of nearly a year-long effort by Sesno, whose primary objective it was, he says, “to draw out the personal reflections and recollections–what made Reagan tick, the role faith played in his life, how he handled criticism and controversy, what he was really like.”

A highlight of the special are interviews with a number of the former president’s family and colleagues, including Nancy Reagan, Patti Davis, Ron Reagan Jr., Mikhail Gorbachev, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, James Baker, Michael Deaver, Edwin Meese, and Brian Mulroney.
