Music Department Presents Three Performances

The Music Department presents a faculty recital tonight at 8 p.m. in Harris Theatre. Laura Mann, soprano, and Susan Ricci, piano, will perform a glittering array of musical repertoire from opera, musical theater, and special selections from Mann’s award winning tour In a Woman’s Voice. The event is free and open to the public.
On Sunday, Nov. 24, the George Mason Women’s Chorale with Kathryn Hearden, soprano, Betty-Ann Lynerd, conductor, and the Women’s Chorus of the Annapolis Area Christian School will perform More Than Yesterday at 3 p.m. in Harris Theatre. Tickets for the concert of classical and contemporary choral works are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Fifty free tickets are available for George Mason students.
On Monday, Nov. 25, the George Mason Jazz Chamber Ensembles, with Director Glenn Dewey, will perform traditional and contemporary jazz selections at 8 p.m. in the Johnson Center Bistro. The event is free and open to the public.
