University Community Invited to Smallpox Seminar

George Mason faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend “Smallpox: Pathogenesis, Prophylaxis, and Treatment” tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the Prince William 2 Auditorium at the Prince William Campus. The program, offered free to the university community, is presented by Kenneth Alibek, Distinguished Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology and executive director of the Center for Biodefense.
The seminar is the final installment in the “Advances in Medical Defenses Against Biological Weapons” series sponsored by the Biology Department and the Center for Biodefense. For more information, call (703) 993-1039.
