The university community is invited to a discussion on “Alternatives to War with Iraq” featuring U.S. Representative Nick Rahall II (D-W.Va), who has just returned from Baghdad, as well as noted policy analysts and educators. The forum, hosted by the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR), is from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday in the Original Building, Room 244 of the Arlington Campus.

Participants include Marcus Raskin, a founder of the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C.; Tal Brewer of the University of Virginia Philosophy Department; and Mohammed Abu Nimer, professor at American University’s program in Conflict and Peace Studies. Richard Rubenstein, ICAR professor of conflict resolution and public affairs, will moderate the discussion.

Audience members are asked to be seated a few minutes before 2 p.m. since the forum will be televised.
