“Diversity Strategies,” an international satellite telecast, will be broadcast from 1 to 3 p.m. today on the Fairfax and Prince William Campuses via satellite down link. The telecast is free and is available on local GMU-TV channels. The Fairfax Campus will telecast the event from the Johnson Center, Assembly Room B, and the Prince William Campus will telecast via wide screen hookup in the Verizon Auditorium. The George Mason Diversity Advisory Board will provide light refreshments at each advertised campus site.
The telecast will answer questions about what we could and should do to increase the minority representation within the faculty and administration at George Mason.
The Washington Regional Task Force Against Campus Prejudice in partnership with Black Issues In Higher Education magazine presents the telecast through a grant by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. In addition, Will Soza, president and chief executive officer of Soza International and a member of the George Mason Diversity Advisory Board and George Mason University Foundation Board of Trustees, will be a featured panelist.
