The Center for the Arts will no longer hold a Student Ticket Day as it has in the past, but all full-time students are eligible for free student tickets. Full-time students are undergraduates who are carrying nine paid credit hours per semester and graduates who are carrying six paid credits. Students must bring their valid George Mason ID when picking up tickets.
Free student tickets can be obtained in person at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office beginning the Tuesday a week prior to the event. Students may obtain two free tickets to most performances. For certain performances for which there are a limited number of tickets available, students are allowed only one free ticket, although they may obtain a second free ticket on the day of the event if student tickets remain available 90 minutes before the performance.
Students who must attend a performance as a class requirement are exempt from the credit-hour requirement. A class requirement does not guarantee that free tickets will be available.
Students located at the Arlington the Prince William Campuses may obtain a ticket request form on the Center for the Arts web site and fax their request along with a copy of their class schedule to (703) 993-8650. For more information, call the Student Ticket Hotline at (703) 993-8788.
