Robert Templin Named New NVCC President

Robert Templin Jr., former president of the Center for Innovative Technology, has been named the new president of Northern Virginia Community College, effective Aug. 27.

Templin, who has served 16 years in Virginia’s community college system, including eight years as president of Thomas Nelson Community College and eight years as dean of instruction at Piedmont Virginia Community College, is currently a senior fellow and advisor at the Morino Institute. He succeeds Belle Wheelan, who now serves as Virginia’s Secretary of Education.
