Paycheck Distribution Procedures Change

Beginning Friday, July 12, paychecks will no longer be released to departmental payroll contacts. Employees not enrolled in direct deposit will be responsible for picking up their checks at specified times and locations on the Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William Campuses. Checks will only be released to the individual named on the check.
Distribution of checks on each campus will follow this schedule:
- Arlington Campus, noon to 1 p.m. in the Original Building, Room
- Fairfax Campus, 8 to 9 a.m. in Student Union Building II, VIP Room I
- Prince William Campus, 8 to 9 a.m. in Prince William I, Room 222
Each employee will be asked to present photo identification for verification purposes, and will be required to sign for his or her check before receipt. Employees who do not receive their checks at this time will be required to come and sign for their checks in the Payroll Department, located on the third floor of the Commerce Building at 4087 University Drive.
The best way for employees to avoid any inconvenience brought about by this procedural change is to enroll in direct deposit. Enrollment forms are available on the Human Resources and Payroll web site and may be returned to Human Resources and Payroll at MS 3C3.
