BOV Selects Student Alternate

George Mason’s Board of Visitors has appointed Saweda A. Bright as the student alternate for the 2002-03 academic year.
Bright expects to graduate in May 2004 with a double bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. She received a B.S. in biological sciences from North Carolina State University in August 2001. Bright participates in the Biology and Chemistry Club at George Mason and was the donation chair for the Homecoming 2002 Committee. Her awards include the Honor of Academic Excellence from the Office of Diversity Programs and Services; inclusion on the Dean’s List; and membership in the Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society.
