PIA Hosts Public Service Forum Today

In support of public service recognition week, May 6-12, the Department of Public and International Affairs hosts a public service career forum today at 6 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Room C. The forum is cosponored by the George Mason M.P.A. Alumni Chapter and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.

Presenters include Glenn Cassidy, exercise and wargame coordinator, the Joint Staff; Kevin Leske, environmental public interest attorney; Michael Stahl, director, Office of Compliance, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Colleen Woodard, CEO, Federal Technology Services Inc.; and Vicki Robinson, assistant director, George Mason Career Services.

The panel will discuss opportunities in their fields; human resources management; the intelligence community; environmental policy; consulting for the government; the federal job process; public sector job securities; and career resources at George Mason. Refreshments will be served.
