Q: I remember from last summer some kind of social thing on the Johnson Center South Plaza outside of the Bistro with food for students, staff, and faculty. Will that happen again this summer?

A: Yes, Summer Socials will happen again this summer for the sixth year. Summer Socials occur every Wednesday in June and July, except July 3, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on the Johnson Center South Plaza (rain site: Bistro). University Life is sponsoring this summer’s festivities, and all members of the George Mason community are welcome and encouraged to attend. Free appetizers are provided, and student organizations will be selling discounted non-alcoholic beverages. –Alissa Karton, Johnson Center and University Life program manager, x31438, akarton@gmu.edu.
