Mike Kohn, a George Mason alumnus and bronze medal-winning bobsledder, will be at the Fairfax Campus to speak and sign autographs with other Olympians from the 2002 Winter Olympics. They will be in the Johnson Center Bistro on Friday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to noon. The event is free and open to the university community.
Kohn and the other Olympians–members of the U.S. bobsled and biathlon teams–are all U.S. Army World Class Athletes, part of the World Class Athletics Program (WCAP). WCAP is one of more than 200 morale, welfare, and recreation programs in the Army. It is provided through the U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center in Alexandria.
“There’s no better time to be an Olympian and to represent your country than right now,” said Kohn in an interview with Army Link News.
