Kulans Named EIVA Player of the Week

George Mason men’s volleyball player Art Kulans has been named the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) Division I Player of the Week for the second time this season.
This is the seventh time a George Mason player has earned the honor in the 10 weeks the conference has been awarding it. Kulans joins three-time honoree junior James Claney, freshman Shaun Powell, and senior Scott Kittleson in earning the award this season.
Kulan averaged 4.67 kills, 2.33 digs and 1.33 blocks per game, while hitting at .444, in the Patriots’ loss to No. 5 Penn State last Friday. He posted a team-high 14 kills, a team-high seven digs, and tied for the match-high with four blocks. He leads George Mason in kill average with 3.46 per game.
