Mason Week Begins Today

Mason Week, April 22-26, kicks off today with an Earth Day Celebration at the Johnson Center North Plaza from 1 to 5 p.m. A variety of bands are scheduled to perform, and free food and beverages will be served. Jammy Jam begins at 9 p.m. in the Johnson Center Bistro where participants will enjoy free food and a night of music with DJ Ty. A prize will be given for the best pajamas.

Tomorrow, the WHFS 99.1 College Tour sets up at SUB I from 1 to 3 p.m., with an interactive treasure hunt at 7:30 p.m. Contact the Special Events Committee at x32925 to sign up and win $100.

The 37th Annual Mason Day on Thursday features music and activities on the Quad beginning at 11 a.m. Common with DJ Dummy, and artist Alana Davis headline the list of bands. Local groups include, Ceylon, Latchkey, Opus, Akoben, and Boogiehawg.

Mason Week concludes Friday with a bench painting party at the Quad from noon to 3 p.m. For more information or a complete list of events, call the Program Board Office at x32925.
