Communication Department Recognizes Students, Alumni

The 11th Annual Communication Student/Alumni Luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at George’s Restaurant in the Johnson Center. Men’s basketball coach Jim Larranaga is the featured speaker.

Communication alumnus Cesar Soriano (B.A. ’94) will be honored. Soriano, a USA Today reporter, has been covering the war on terrorism from Afghanistan and aboard aircraft carriers in the Arabian Sea. Robert Steele (M.A. ’98) will be honored by the Telecommunications Master’s Program for his contributions to the field of telecommunications and his continued work with the Telecommunications Program.

The luncheon brings together faculty, students, and alumni. Awards will also given to seniors and alumni. For more information, contact the Communication Department at x34010.
