Robert Frost and His Books, an exhibition prepared by Special Collections and Archives (SCA), is now on display on the second floor of Fenwick Library. The exhibition focuses on the presentation of Frost’s poetry, where elements such as printing choice, book binding, book illustrations, and anthologized poems all contributed to create the image and legacy of Frost as “America’s Poet.”

On display are Frost’s early and limited editions, books that illuminate Frost’s relationship with fine printing, Frost’s Christmas cards, and Frost anthologies. The exhibition was conceived by graduate English student Jennifer Pillen and M.F.A. candidate Matt Smythe for Professor Eric Pankey’s English course on Robert Frost and Wallace Stevens.

SCA’s Paul Koda, Paulina Vaca, and Lauren Glaettli put the exhibition together, and Professor Roger Lathbury loaned all the books from his private collection for the exhibition.
