The School of Public Policy’s International Center for Applied Studies in Information Technology (ICASIT) and George Washington University’s School of Engineering Management have made plans to collaborate on research in the field of knowledge management.
ICASIT Director Stephen Ruth has been named to the Board of Governors of George Washington’s new Knowledge Management Institute in recognition of George Mason’s major role in knowledge management in the Washington, D.C., region. The two universities are making plans for knowledge management seminars, shared research, and international curriculum development so students from both institutions can broaden their research agendas.
ICASIT’s knowledge management roundtables, developed by Virgil Frizzell and participated in by more than 120 regional firms, will be integrated into the Knowledge Management Institute’s programs. For more information about ICASIT’s knowledge management activities, visit its web site.
