Men’s Basketball Team Ends Season with Loss to Hofstra

The men’s basketball team lost on Saturday to Hofstra, 82-76, in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament ending its season. Hofstra, who upset Towson on Friday, was the No. 10 seed in the tournament.
George Mason got 18 points and 7 rebounds from Jesse Young, 17 points from Rob Anderson, 14 points from Lamar Butler, and 10 points from Raoul Heinen. Anderson had 15 first-half points, all on three-pointers. The Patriots had 11 three-pointers overall, one off the tournament game record.
