Outstanding Achievement Award Recipients Honored

Fifteen George Mason employees were honored at a ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 27, with Outstanding Achievement Awards from Human Resources. The award is granted for achievement or specific accomplishments that improve processes, save time or money, or improve customer service, and result in significant benefit to the university, school, institute, or department. The awards are granted twice yearly, based on nominations submitted for review by the Compensation Committee.
Winners of the Outstanding Achievement Award were honored with a certificate and a $1,000 check.
The following faculty and staff members were recognized: Kevin Beail, New Century College; Kathy Bohnstedt, Division of Instructional and Technology Support Services (DoIT); Traci Claar, Community Relations; Sue Davies, Electrical and Computer Engineering; Linda Hatcher, Fiscal Services; Nalin Jain, Arlington Small Business Development Center; Laura LeVine, DoIT; Lori Logan, Police Department; Todd Morisak, DoIT; Becky Nemeth, Information Services; Wendy Payton, Academic Affairs; Karen LeAnn Pittman, DoIT; Ilse Riddick, Human Resources; Barbara Saladino, Student Health Services; and Marie Scanlon, School of Management.
Martha Reiner, awards coordinator in Human Resources, also received a special certificate of recognition for her work in promoting faculty and staff members at George Mason.
