Mason Alumnus Wins Bronze Medal

George Mason alumnus Mike Kohn helped the United States end a 46-year bobsled medal drought in the Winter Olympics when his four-man team won the bronze medal on Saturday. USA-2, piloted by Brian Shimer, along with Kohn, Doug Sharp, and Dan Steele, finished the four heats in a combined time of 3 minutes, 7.86 seconds.

USA-1, piloted by Todd Hays, won the silver medal with a time of 3:07.81. The gold went to Germany-2, which finished the four heats in 3:07.51.
