Aquatic Center Hosts CAA Swimming and Diving Championships

George Mason is set to host the 2002 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Swimming and Diving Championships, which begins today at the Aquatic and Fitness Center on the Fairfax Campus. The event concludes Sunday, Feb. 24.
More than 350 student-athletes will be competing for their universities, with individual championship titles and NCAA championship qualifying results on the line. The teams include the host Patriots, Davidson, Drexel, Delaware, James Madison, Old Dominion, Towson, UNC Wilmington, and William and Mary.
The CAA Championships begin with diving trials today at noon. Swimming will start on Friday at 10 a.m., with the finals at 6 p.m. The schedule of events is located on www.gmusports.com..
All-day passes are $35 for adults and $25 for youths (18 and under) and seniors (62 and over). Tickets can also be purchased for each session at $7 for adults and $5 for youths and seniors.
