George Mason and Vcampus Corporations are launching an online workshop to help trainers deliver more effective programs by incorporating online communications techniques. The workshop lasts eight weeks and provides four Continuing Education credits. The program begins Feb. 4.
“Online Instruction: Migrating Traditional Training to Online” is intended for instructors, course developers, and training managers in the corporate, government, and higher education areas who want to deliver web-based learning solutions or who are seeking to complement existing classroom instruction with online assistance.
“This course is an important addition to our offerings for professionals,” says Janet Niblock, executive director of the Office of Continuing Professional Education. “Trainers will learn how to augment their organizations’ existing training programs through highly effective, lower cost e-learning solutions that provide new options for learners. The workshop will also help trainers who want to launch e-learning programs that generate revenue.”
Upon completion students will receive an official certificate from George Mason and will be ready to design and deliver web-based courses. The price per student is $1,935. For more information, visit the web site or call x32109.
