Prince William Campus Holds King Birthday Celebration

“Honoring the King Legacy with a Renewed Commitment” is the focus of the first Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration held at the Prince William Campus. The program gets under way at noon today in the Verizon Auditorium. President Alan Merten delivers the opening remarks, and Marilyn McKenzie, interim director of the African American Studies Program, presents the keynote address. The program continues with music, a step team and other performances, and concludes with soul food.
