In an early Valentine’s Day celebration, actress Lynda Carter, who portrayed Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series of the same name, will join George Mason students for three presentations of The Vagina Monologues. Performances are set for Friday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 and 8 p.m. in the Harris Theater.

The Vagina Monologues, Eve Ensler’s Obie award-winning play, is a series of stories based on interviews in which women talk about the most secret part of their bodies. The monologues explore questions often pondered but seldom asked. A discussion with the cast follows the evening performances.

Tickets are available through, the George Mason Box Office at x38888, or at the door. Cost is $5 for students, $10 for faculty/staff, and $25 for community members. All proceeds benefit efforts to end violence against women in the Northern Virginia region.
