The Classes of 1977, 1992, and 1997 will be on the Fairfax Campus this February to celebrate their 25-, 10-, and 5-year reunions, respectively, during Reunion Weekend 2002.
On Friday, Feb. 15, the celebrations will begin with a special lunch gathering at Campus Crossroads (Ciao Hall). Patriots of years past are invited to participate in campus tours and then attend one of the following sessions: Alumna Jean Renfro Anspaugh’s discussion of her new book Fat Like Us; or a discussion of the university’s Master Plan and Plan 2007 with Reid Herlihy, vice president of facilities, and Provost Peter Stearns. The night concludes with a banquet at the Waterford at Fair Oaks.
On Saturday, Feb. 16, the reunion switches to party mode for the Homecoming Block Party/Reunion Block that precedes the 2 p.m. men’s basketball game at the Patriot Center against the Drexel Dragons. A postgame reunion party, Homecoming fireworks display, and reunion class get-togethers follow the game.
Participants must register by Friday, Feb. 1. For more information and a registration form, visit the Reunion Weekend 2002 web site or contact Heidi Kibirsky, assistant director of Alumni Affairs, at x33847 or firstname.lastname@example.org; or Zavin Smith, Annual Fund assistant, at x38613 or email@example.com.
