The Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP) holds a press conference today at 11 a.m. in Mason Hall to announce the results of its eighth annual “How Safe Are Our Roads” report. Designed to examine the impact of drunk driving in the Washington D.C. area, the report is largely the result of work by David Anderson, director of the university’s Center for the Advancement of Public Health.
Anderson and Kurt Erickson of WRAP are among the speakers on hand to discuss whether drunk driving crashes, arrests, and deaths went up or down in 2001. The campus community is invited to attend the event.
