To help eliminate the stress associated with the holiday season, the University Dispute Resolution Project (UDRP) presents “The Mind-Body Connection and Conflict Workshop” on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in SUB II, Rooms 1 and 2.

The workshop provides an opportunity for participants to experience several mind-body techniques (including relaxation and visualization), practice these skills, and explore ways to integrate them into their personal and professional lifestyles. Facilitator Julia Morelli practices and teaches qigong and yoga and received extensive training through the Center for Mind-Body. The workshop is informal and participants are requested to wear loose, comfortable clothes and to bring a blanket.

The cost is $20 and checks should be made out to GMU and left in the UDRP mailbox at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution or sent through interoffice mail to UDRP, MS 2D6. To register, e-mail Lindsey Godwin at udrp@gmu.edu or call x32887.
